Unique question cards spark joyful family conversations!
"Family Conversation Cards" emerged from a collaborative effort within our family.
The story behind it might resonate with many families, especially those with children of different ages. You ask your teenager, "How was school today?" and receive a simple "Okay" in response. Sparking meaningful conversations can often feel like a game of chance, influenced by fatigue and perhaps even the alignment of the stars.
Our family experienced a turning point one evening when our younger son, then 8 years old, asked a thought-provoking question: "What made you laugh today?" This unusual question ignited a lively discussion among us, leading to a realization – the key lies in asking the right questions.
Inspired by this, the mother encouraged everyone to come up with more such questions. We collected the best ones and turned them into simple conversation cards. These cards soon became a nightly tradition and a playful tool to initiate conversations and share daily events.
In collaboration with an award-winning design agency, these conversation cards were transformed into a product in the spring of 2022, now available for other families to enjoy!
The deck consists of 52 unique question cards, each featuring a one-of-a-kind, creativity-inspiring illustration. Each card's question encourages the respondent to reflect more deeply on their day and view it from new or unexpected perspectives. The questions also have a profound impact, gradually
fostering mindfulness and an awareness of small details, leading to better self-awareness and increased joy in life.
These cards are perfect not only for dinner time but for any shared moment with family or friends.
